Ustaoset is a compact and versatile knife suited for most tasks. The short blade provides excellent control and is particularly well suited when precision is important.
The blade is relatively tall and straight-ground, with a gentle curve toward the tip that makes the knife agile in use. With a blade thickness of 2.2 mm, the knife feels solid and reliable. Its short and robust construction also makes it well suited for use with a fire starter.
The handle is made of oiled curly birch and features an ergonomically shaped, raised section at the front of the blade, providing a secure and comfortable grip—especially for small to medium-sized hands.
At the end of the handle, there is a practical hole for attaching a cord, allowing the knife to be easily worn around the neck or attached to a backpack or belt. Ustaoset comes with a black ox leather sheath with a safety insert, decorated with German silver details.
To preserve the knife’s quality over time, it is recommended to wipe it dry after use before placing it back in the sheath. With proper maintenance, you will have a solid and reliable utility knife that will last for many years.

We offer a lifetime warranty on all our Brusletto knives produced at our factory in Ringebu. This warranty applies to normal use. If there is user error, the warranty does not apply. If you have had the misfortune of something going wrong with the item you purchased from us, we ask you to contact us by email with a detailed description of the issue and please include photos if possible. Sometimes, we may not require the item to be returned, so it's best to wait for instructions on returning a defective item. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but it may take a few days depending on the nature of the problem. We will either repair the knife or send you a new equivalent knife.

For products not manufactured at our Ringebu factory, a 2-year warranty is applicable from the date of purchase.

The warranty does not cover damage to the knife resulting from accidents, material defects related to poor maintenance over time, normal wear and tear, broken knife blades resulting from batoning, or modified products. The warranty does not apply to the sheath that comes with the knife, as it is considered an accessory product.
