Haugastøl is a compact and versatile knife suitable for most tasks. The short blade provides excellent control, making it ideal for those who prefer precision over length.
The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel and has a thickness of 2.2 mm, giving it a solid and reliable feel in use. The compact design also makes the knife well suited for use with a fire starter.
Between the blade and the handle, there is a nickel silver bolster, which adds both a classic appearance and increased durability. The handle is made from stained and oiled birch and is ergonomically shaped to fit small and medium-sized hands particularly well.
The knife comes with a brown cowhide sheath featuring a safety insert.
To preserve the knife’s quality over time, it is recommended to wipe it dry after use before returning it to the sheath. With proper care, you will have a solid and reliable utility knife that will last for many years.

We offer a lifetime warranty on all our Brusletto knives produced at our factory in Ringebu. This warranty applies to normal use. If there is user error, the warranty does not apply. If you have had the misfortune of something going wrong with the item you purchased from us, we ask you to contact us by email with a detailed description of the issue and please include photos if possible. Sometimes, we may not require the item to be returned, so it's best to wait for instructions on returning a defective item. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but it may take a few days depending on the nature of the problem. We will either repair the knife or send you a new equivalent knife.
For products not manufactured at our Ringebu factory, a 2-year warranty is applicable from the date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover damage to the knife resulting from accidents, material defects related to poor maintenance over time, normal wear and tear, broken knife blades resulting from batoning, or modified products. The warranty does not apply to the sheath that comes with the knife, as it is considered an accessory product.
