Rypa is a compact and versatile knife, specifically developed for small game hunting. It is designed with the hunter’s needs in mind, and its handy size makes it easy to handle and practical to carry on outdoor trips.
Despite its compact format, the knife provides a secure and comfortable grip and fits both small and large hands equally well. The knife has an overall length of 17.2 cm, with a 6.5 cm blade made from stainless Sandvik 12C27 steel – a high-quality steel that is both durable and easy to sharpen.
The handle is made from stained and oiled curly birch, giving it a classic appearance and a comfortable grip. The knife is delivered with a black cowhide leather sheath with a safety insert. The sheath is decorated with a nickel silver band featuring a ptarmigan motif, giving the knife a unique and traditional character.
To ensure a long service life, it is recommended to wipe the knife dry after use before placing it back in the sheath. With proper maintenance, you get a small but reliable quality knife that will last for many years.

We offer a lifetime warranty on all our Brusletto knives produced at our factory in Ringebu. This warranty applies to normal use. If there is user error, the warranty does not apply. If you have had the misfortune of something going wrong with the item you purchased from us, we ask you to contact us by email with a detailed description of the issue and please include photos if possible. Sometimes, we may not require the item to be returned, so it's best to wait for instructions on returning a defective item. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but it may take a few days depending on the nature of the problem. We will either repair the knife or send you a new equivalent knife.
For products not manufactured at our Ringebu factory, a 2-year warranty is applicable from the date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover damage to the knife resulting from accidents, material defects related to poor maintenance over time, normal wear and tear, broken knife blades resulting from batoning, or modified products. The warranty does not apply to the sheath that comes with the knife, as it is considered an accessory product.
