Hunter is Norway’s best-selling hunting knife since its launch in 1963, with over 1.4 million units sold. It is a true classic that has retained its distinctive design and excellent performance over several decades.
The blade has maintained its narrow, tapered shape over the years and is now equipped with a Scandinavian straight-ground edge, providing precise and efficient cutting performance. The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel, known for its excellent durability and ease of maintenance. The knife is handcrafted in Norway and represents solid craftsmanship and proud traditions.
Hunter is a versatile utility knife, equally suitable for hunting and outdoor use—whether for food preparation, making kindling, or cleaning fish.
The handle is made from stained and oiled curly birch, giving it a classic appearance and a secure grip. The knife features a cast aluminum bolster with an integrated finger guard for increased safety during use. The sheath is made from durable leather, reinforced with a metal band running around the entire sheath for added strength and durability.
This is a Premium version of the classic Hunter knife. The handle is glass-blasted with a grey finish and specially treated to highlight the unique grain pattern of the wood. The knife is delivered in an exclusive gift box, which also includes a small diamond sharpener, practical for sharpening both the knife and fish hooks.
To ensure a long lifespan, it is recommended to wipe the knife dry after use before placing it back in the sheath. With proper maintenance, you will have a reliable quality knife that will last for many years.

We offer a lifetime warranty on all our Brusletto knives produced at our factory in Ringebu. This warranty applies to normal use. If there is user error, the warranty does not apply. If you have had the misfortune of something going wrong with the item you purchased from us, we ask you to contact us by email with a detailed description of the issue and please include photos if possible. Sometimes, we may not require the item to be returned, so it's best to wait for instructions on returning a defective item. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but it may take a few days depending on the nature of the problem. We will either repair the knife or send you a new equivalent knife.
For products not manufactured at our Ringebu factory, a 2-year warranty is applicable from the date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover damage to the knife resulting from accidents, material defects related to poor maintenance over time, normal wear and tear, broken knife blades resulting from batoning, or modified products. The warranty does not apply to the sheath that comes with the knife, as it is considered an accessory product.
