Renessanse is one of the five official knives in the 2000-Year Knife series, developed in connection with the turn of the millennium. This is a decorative and exclusive utility knife that is also very well suited as a bunad knife.

The knife features a hand-cast pewter ferrule, giving it a traditional and refined appearance. The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel – a durable quality steel that is easy to maintain. The handle is crafted from oiled curly birch, providing both an elegant look and a secure grip.

The knife is delivered with a black leather sheath decorated with an embossed pattern. The sheath includes a safety insert and a hinged belt loop for safe and practical use.

If you have a bunad where the knife is attached with a button, a small cut can easily be made on the back of the loop for attachment. To preserve the knife’s quality, it is recommended to wipe it clean after use before placing it back in the sheath. With proper maintenance, you will have a beautiful and reliable knife for many years to come.

We offer a lifetime warranty on all our Brusletto knives produced at our factory in Ringebu. This warranty applies to normal use. If there is user error, the warranty does not apply. If you have had the misfortune of something going wrong with the item you purchased from us, we ask you to contact us by email with a detailed description of the issue and please include photos if possible. Sometimes, we may not require the item to be returned, so it's best to wait for instructions on returning a defective item. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but it may take a few days depending on the nature of the problem. We will either repair the knife or send you a new equivalent knife.

For products not manufactured at our Ringebu factory, a 2-year warranty is applicable from the date of purchase.

The warranty does not cover damage to the knife resulting from accidents, material defects related to poor maintenance over time, normal wear and tear, broken knife blades resulting from batoning, or modified products. The warranty does not apply to the sheath that comes with the knife, as it is considered an accessory product.
